Always being inspired by Blaxploitation, Michael Jackson and the grooves of the 1970's.  Big afro's, big glasses, brightly printed clothes. 

Whilst working for Selfridges at a boutique called 'Pure Living Lounge', a place where we sold Dyptique Candles, vintage furniture, bohemian inspired interiors.  Opposite our stand was an area for selling art prints.  On the times when it was quiet, I began to sketch in a very small hand held notepad.  The inspiration for these images began way back then.  One of the four ended up on canvas.
