a little sunshine poem

the may flowers in bloom, pretty buds cover the grass like a painting of dots, a fresh smell of magnolia petals flowing gently in the wind, the summer shines its ways through the trees, through the gaps between the leaves, the occasional oak leaf dropped along the path, dogs barking, licking, wagging their tail, a twinkle in their eye knows that you are here.

the heath is full of surprise, like a land of narnian twisty little paths, sometimes taking you into the great unknown. surprisingly down into a delightful garden full of pink and red fuchsia’s, a happy gardener gardening away.

clouds forming up above, like giant elephants on a rampage through the sky.  Or large moose with large noses.

such a picture to paint on a monday afternoon stroll with my sister and me.
