I use water based inks for printing t-shirts, tote bags and notebooks. These are all printed in London. T.shirts I choose to print on are produced using organic cotton, have the accredited Fair Ware Foundation stamp, an EarthPositive clothing label and carry the registered mark, "Climate Neutral".

Well, my beloved vintage Silver sewing machine has finally packed up! The needle is permanently stuck inside the machine, and even though I tried my very best to get it repaired, I even took it to the local Fix It Factory in Queens Cresent, but sadly to no avail 🤔😞 ... since then, it's been a rocky road of no sewing to then borrowing a sewing machine from a beautifully kind neighbour to just recently purchasing this new edition. After much research and hitting the Argos sales before it ended. Am so utterly grateful for this replacement. I think it seems to be a fiiiiiinnnnneeee replacement! Especially since it's a step up between a regular domestic sewing machine and an industrial sewing machine, which sadly I wouldn't have had the room for. This Singer is Heavy Duty. Bring on sewing projects for this next season of sewing and creating and making and crafting.

So I thought I may introduce myself - I grew up in Derby. Moved to London to study art. Got to study at Central Saint Martins,which was pretty cool, studying fashion. Graduated in 2004. After this, I met the most wonderful woman called Ifilia (Positive Awareness Charity),who helped young people to flourish - including me, giving me a platform to present new fashion collections.

As time passed, I started attending Hillsong Church (instead of the smaller family based church I'd been used to) and found a new tribe of fashion, art & photography inspired people. Together,we joined forces to create wonderful fashion events raising money for A21, Watoto,and Cystic Fibrosis. The first show was called 'Hope Cambodia'. 18 outfits and an introduction of menswear to the line. A wonderful success. So greatful to show my work to such an audience, greatful for my mum who knitted lots of beautiful berets by hand. Greatful to 'Cross Mentors Fashion' - to work together, inspire each other, pray for each other, support each other - models, designers, photographers, musicians - I've met some of my besties who've stayed this long road of friendship with me. Even through the years.

After all the shows, there was a pivot. creation26 was birthed in 2009. Fairtrade t-shirts and tote bags came after that, after an NEA business course with the job centre as I managed to break a rib so couldn't work. This is what I'm wearing here - one of my arrow t-shirts (all about choices in life - some take you up, some take you down, some direct you to God). Along with this beau leather pouch I made from offcuts of leather. Sustainability is what it's about for me. Upcycling. Recycling. Using water-based inks.

These days, I'm a freelance teacher working with Traid, teaching others how to mend and repair. I've worked regularly with 'The Dome' - a wonderful community. Where I teach art and sewing. I still create and sell products, including hand carved litho notebooks and screen printed tote bags.

When I get given the opportunity I will happily paint a mural or picture. I give all glory back to Jesus, my rock, my sustainer, my God. Looking forward to this year with new bouts of unwavering faith.

It's a new year. A new strategy. A new bout of energy and unwavering faith - that good things will come to pass for creation26. That I stepped out in faith when I dreamt of working for my self in 2009.

That the vision has been carved and shaped and remoulded. As I have been carved and shaped and remoulded. All thanks to God. To Jesus. As my cornerstone.

Becoming a wife to a wonderful and loving husband. Becoming a parent. Choosing to work freelance and say goodbye to holiday pay and a regular income so I could pursue the work I regularly fall in love with. Painting. Art. Designing. Fashion. Sustainability. Recycling. Upcyling. Working with colour. Working with Traid. Working as a teacher and workshop leader. Stepping into leading opportunities. Sharing my passion for being creative and sustainable.

I believe that my work is a blessing. That it can find itself on the walls of people's homes, that my art can be treasured by those that see the value in it. Those clients and customers that I only dream of working with and serving can be a real and tangible thing that I see happening soon and in this year. That this vision that once I only dreamed of became a regular success. I've had to walk through many situations. Many challenges. Many would have probably given up by now. But the question that remains in my heart is this : my work is good. My work has value. Soon, others will see this too and want to work with me. Few develop grit and stamina. To keep going. When every thing feels like it's all coming against you. This is the time that new muscles are shaped.

Thankyou 💛💛💛 to the lovely church in Gospel Oak. We've visited for the past 3 or 4 years, every Christmas Eve. You always deliver.

Christmas is about love. Christmas is about hope. Christmas is about joy. Christmas is about forgiving others. Christmas is about grace. Compassion. Peace. Goodwill to all. It's what it truly means to love others and ourselves. As Christ has loved us. Deeply. Passionately. Unwaveringly.

The Christmas story is a truly remarkable one. God came in human form. As a baby. A miraculous conception when God intervened.

Jesus came to bring life and life to its full.

Prayer is the most beautiful act one person can do for another human being. It brings life. Hope. Support. A sincere heart caring for another individual other than themselves. A truly selfless act. Where humans cannot be God and where God is God and steps into our chaos and brings order. Healing from pain. Restoration out of brokenness. Joy from anxiety. Peace that transcends from heaven. ♥️♥️♥️
