Walking around the streets of Tunis we stumbled across this colourful doorway that I simply just had to photograph using my G9. I love the colours – all so bold – red, bottle green, black and cream – I feel like I could create a collection just from this one photo alone!!! Its all very graphic and comical in an animation kind of style – like walking through the doors of Alice in Wonderland and finding Narnia!
Equally there are a lot of beautiful blue and white ceramics. On the walls, the doors, on the floor. Just like the deep blue of the ocean.
As we turn and walk down a new street, we see market sellers displaying all these wonderful scarves, in a variety of tones and shades, the fibers all woven together beautifully. It captures the spirit of Tunisia in a nano second.
